Buvan is an adorable baby boy who walks 1 kilometer each day to attend primary school. His favorite subject is Tamil language, where he eagerly learns and excels. Buvan cherishes moments spent watching TV with his three brothers, their laughter bringing warmth to their modest home. They live in a tea plantation community in central Sri Lanka, an area that is deprived and marginalized. Their home is a barrack-like “line” room with a cement floor, cement walls, and a roof covered with tin sheets. Despite having electricity and sanitary facilities, they rely on a common well for drinking water. Buvans mother is a single mom who does casual labor work, struggling to provide for her children on a poor income. The burden of running the family rests heavily on her shoulders. Sponsorship could bring a ray of hope into Buvan”s life, easing his mother’s struggles and offering him a chance at a brighter, more secure future.
