Mamadi lives in a coastal village in the west coast region of The Gambia. Mamadi lives with his parents and two sisters in a small mud block house of two single rooms without a private bathroom. Mamadis father is a local driver and use the meager money he earns for the daily basic needs of the family. His mother on the other hand does all the daily household chores and she is also engage in seasonal gardening to add on to her husbands income. Their combined annual income cannot cater for their basic needs. Mamadi is enrolled into the village lower basic school. His best subject is Number reading. He loves playing with football, toys with his friends. This loving parents aim for Mamadi to have access to a better education, good health and shelter. Supporting this child will greatly help him achieve his dreams.
