Argencio is a smart and kind boy who lives in a small community located in the southeastern part of Mozambique along with his parents and brother. They live in a self-built house with reed walls, a thatched roof and dirt floor. They use rudimentary sanitary facilities. They do not have electricity. They often use candles or firewood to have light at night. They do not have running water. Argencio often helps his family with the light chores around the house. He is a student in a local primary school and his favorite subject is Portuguese. In future, he would like to be an Engineer. On his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer. His parents own a small plot of land where they grow maize, cowpeas and cassava. That is the source of income that she has. The crops only get compromised when it does not rain because without rain there is no production on her field. Argencio participates in the program where he will receive support in the areas of health, education, nutrition and recreation.
