Yaya Keita and parents live in a village called Kambaya situated in the Dabolakoro community. He is belongs to the Mandingo tribe family and practices Islam as religion. They dwell in huts without access to clean drinking water. The family main source of income is farming. With just US$125 as income per year, they find it difficult to improve their living conditions.Yaya is a boy with a fair complexion and seems to be an intelligent little child but surviving in poverty. He is not attending the kindergarten to get initiated in reading and writing due to luck of ECD in the village. He sleeps with his mum in a bed under a mosquito net. The assistance of a kind friend will be great for Yaya to go to school at his right age and have a bright future.
