Larcio is a little boy who lives in the southern part of Mozambique. He lives with his mother and brother in a very small house made of wood and straw. The father of Larcio is deceased. His mother is a farmer, so they live from agriculture. They consume part of their production and sell the other part to be able to buy other types of food, like rice and fish, school material and clothes. They live in an area where it is difficult to have access to clean water or electricity and they have to walk long distances to find water. Larcio is in grade 7 and his favorite subject is Mathematics. On his free time, Larcio enjoys playing football with friends. He also enjoys helping his family cooking. In the future he would like to become a professional driver. The family of Larcio believes that with the help from ChildFund and partners Larcio will have the chance of a better future and their lives will be better.
