Max is a calm and smart boy who lives in a small community located in the capital of Mozambique. He lives with his mother and siblings in a self-built house with stone walls. They use rudimentary sanitary facilities. Max attends primary school and his favorite subject is Math. In future, he would like to be a teacher. His mother is a small business woman. She buys and sells items for income generation. The money she gains is not enough to feed the family. They are living in despair because the cost of life has risen. They find it difficult to respond the demand of the cost of life. They have two meals per day. Max participates in the program where he will receive support in the areas of health, education, nutrition and recreation.
