Laura is a smart girl who lives with her grandparents, mother and siblings in a small community located in the capital of Mozambique. They live in a self-built house with stone walls. The house is not in good conditions. They do not have running water. They use well water. But they have electricity. Laura attends primary school. In future, she would like to be a teacher. She enjoys playing hopscotch, playing with dolls, drawing pictures, singing and dancing. Her mother does some piece jobs for income generation. But, she earns very little money which is not enough to sustain her family. The annual income is about $280. They have two meals per day. Laura participates in the program where she will receive support in the areas of health, education, nutrition and recreation. Her family will benefit from the training skills and home improvement programs. Your support will have a lasting impact on the child.
