Lets introduce to you a girl named Bitaniya lives with her mother and a brother in a neighborhood where most of the community is affected by Leprosy. Her father deserted the family.  Her mother is a daily laborer and her low income, which is less than 400 USD per year, is not enough to raise the family out of poverty. They plan to change their lives by getting engaged in income generating activities and working hard as much as possible. This can be achieved if they get some support and encouragement. There are schools, health centers, and potable water in the neighborhood, but the family shares a small single roomed rented house.   

Ending child poverty begins with Bitaniya. It’s easy. It’s impactful.
