Gabrielly is a young Brazilian girl who lives with her mother, Carmelita; maternal grandparents, Miguel and Carmina, and with three younger siblings, one aunt, and one uncle, in a rural community located in the Jequitinhonha Valley, northeastern Minas Gerais. Their simple home, which is self-owned, has brick walls, ceramic tile flooring and a clay-tiled roof. It has a tiny bathroom. Running water and electricity are available. The father has abandoned the home and has not been providing any type of financial support for his children. Miguel takes some odd jobs as an assistant bricklayer when available and Marlaine (aunt) works as a shop assistant. Gabrielly is affectionate and happy. Her pet name is Gabi. She loves playing with dolls in the company of her sister Helen and friends her age. Gabrielly enjoys good health. She attends a public school and her favorite subject is Portuguese. Her wish is to be a teacher when she grows up. The family is needy and through your support Gabrielly and her family have the opportunity to participate in important projects in the areas of health, recreation and education.
