Being a sweet and caring child, she loves listening to music and singing along with her mother, as she is also fond of bedtime stories together with her family. Her favorite food are ice cream, siomai, and spaghetti. With her qualities, as she also actively participates in community development sessions, Yumi truly reflects her dream of becoming a wonderful teacher someday! She lives with her family in their small abode made of rough concrete, situated a couple of kilometers from the community proper. Her family earns a living by being vendors, generating just around $35 a month. To augment their needs, they grow vegetables such as eggplant, okras, bananas, and root crops.
