Prince Jhon Rei, lovingly called Prince or Totoy, is a creative and cheerful primary school pupil who enjoys drawing, coloring, and playing with friends. He loves eating fried fish and vegetables, and he helps at home by cooking rice and sweeping the floor. Prince dreams of becoming a doctor someday so he can help others. Prince lives with his parents in a simple yet comfortable home made of bamboo and nipa with a cement floor. Their house has electricity, running water from a hand pump, and its own toilet. Their village is less than 10 minutes from the town and rural health center, making school and basic services easy to reach. His father works as a farmer and his mother as a laundrywoman, earning a combined monthly income of about $140.35. As an enrolled child, Prince joins Child Development sessions where he learns valuable skills and lessons while having fun, helping him grow into a responsible and confident young boy.
