Wannida Singhachart or Nooleck is a lively girl who was born into disadvantaged family that lacks of various opportunities in many ways. Nooleck lives with her grandfather and grandmother; her father and mother go to work in other province, both would send cash back home monthly but just a small amount as their income is very little. Her grandparents earn the living as wage earners; they would do every job they could find both in and out the village or anywhere they would get hired. If it rained, they could not work and lacked the income in that day; so often that her grandfather would go fishing, picking vegetable or uprooting bamboo shoots for home cooking. If he could find much of these stuffs, her grandmother would sell the surplus at the farmer market, this helped supplement some of the family income. Her family lives thriftily but it is hard to make ends meet and survive with irregular income. Her family may be unable to ensure the girl a decent education and proper feeding which may risk her growth. With your act of kindness, Nooleck and her family will live a better life.
