Chamith is a cute little boy who resides in the Moneragala district of Sri Lanka with his brother, sister and parents.  Chamith attends a school which is about 03 k.m. away from his house and he travels to school with his sister using public transport.  The family lives in an unfinished house which has a concreted floor and a roof covered with clay tiles.  Chamith’s family have the convenience of accessing tap water, electricity, and a private water-sealed toilet. However, they live a difficult life as his father works as a seasonal farmer and earns an annual income of around USD450/- while his mother takes care of their household duties. Chamith helps his mother to sweep the house and gather firewood for their cooking.  By sponsoring him, we have the opportunity to create a brighter future for Chamith, filled with possibilities for him to flourish and achieve his full potential, as well as bring a ray of hope to his entire family.
