This is Ivan. He belongs to a needy family. The father is absent. The mother is a farmer that earns approximately 3 USD daily. This low income becomes insufficient to satisfy the needs of the family. Ivan has one sister. Ivan speaks Mazahua and Spanish. He attends primary school, at a middle grade. This family lives in a house property of some relatives, without access to the sewer system. They dont have a refrigerator and stove. Ivans diet is based on tortillas, rice, nopales, noodles, lentils, eggs and vegetable soup. Despite the precarious situation, Ivan is thriving and weighs 18.4 kg and he is 1.20 m tall. Ivan likes to participate in parades to celebrate the Day of the Dead. Please, lend Ivan a helping hand.
