Kamalakar, fondly called as Bittu, hails from a very poor family who live in destitute state of poverty and misery. His father works as a laborer in order to maintain the family. His hard work fetches him a very low income of approximately US Dollar 718 per annum, which does not suffice to tide over the financial problems. The mother being a housewife, is at her wits end trying to solve the mounting problems, but there is hardly any sign of improvement in their living conditions. Finally in utter desperation, they sought aid from this project in order to provide a better future for this child. Kamalakar is attending primary school. He enjoys playing balls games and likes to do craft work at home. His health is average. He has one brother. His has squint eye.
