Here is Tendai, a Smily child. She lives with her parents in Luangwa. She is currently enjoying good health. Tendai is in primary school and loves to learn coloring and drawing. Her parents are peasant farmers who grow maize which is our staple food. However, the harvest is always not enough due to bad weather conditions. They family live in a valley and therefore the place usually receives insufficient rainfall to support crop growth. The familys total annual income is about US$ 240 which is not enough to meet their basic needs. It is for this reason that Tendai has been enrolled in the program to be supported by people like you. Your support will help improve the life of Tendai and the family.
