It is with great pleasure that we introduce you a handsome child named Filimon , who lives in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia.  Filimon lives with his parents and he has no sibling. His father is a breadwinner and he earns a meager income from casual work that is not sufficient enough to cover all family’s basic expenses. His mother is a house wife and she takes care of the family.  He is a healthy child.  He is in primary school. His favorite sport is riding bicycles.  He communicates in Amharic local language.  Filimon and his family lives in a one room house made up of mud and wood.  Although the local community where the child lives has access to basic education and health services at the locality, but the local health center lacks enough laboratory equipment and microscope.  Governmental schools in the local community lack science laboratory equipment, reference books, child-friendly environment, well equipped clubs and pedagogical center.  

Ending child poverty begins with Filimon. It’s easy. It’s impactful.
