Alex Fernando, lovingly called Fer, is a joyful, sociable, and respectful child living in a community of Ecuador with his parents and sibling. He is the youngest in his family, with one brother and one sister. Fer attends school and enjoys mathematics as his favorite subject. Fer dreams of becoming a professional soccer player in the future. In his free time, he loves to play soccer and ride his bicycle. He enjoys helping his mother at home by doing the laundry. The family owns their home, built with brick walls, cement fiber roofing, and cement floors. They have electricity, piped water, and a toilet inside. His father works seasonally as a day laborer to support the family, while his mother is a housewife who takes care of them. Sponsorship would support Fer’s education and give him the chance to pursue his dream of becoming an athlete.
