Hassanatou is staying with her parents three brothers and four sisters in the western part of the Gambia. Her father is a seasonal farmer and her need mother is a housewife who does all the domestic work at the family house. The annual earning income of the family is not enough to take care of all the basics of the family. The family lives in a mud blockhouse and is which is not very conducive, especially in the rainy season. Hassanatou is an active girl who likes playing skip with her friends in her leisure time. She also likes going to school but lacks some basic educational needs. Outside support would greatly help her to have a better future.
