Yolani del Carmen or Carmen as her family calls her is a very friendly child. She lives with her single mother and 2-brothers in a rural community in Honduras. The father left home. Her mom works as a housewife; Carmen helps at home cleaning and washing dishes. They share a house made of adobe, tin roof and dirt floor. They don´t have access to electricity and sanitary services, however they do have access to water services at home. This family lives on a monthly income of $ 41, which is not enough to cover their basic needs. Carmen likes to dance and play with dolls.
