Modou I. is living with both parents in a big mud block house roofed with corrugated iron sheets with good bathroom and kitchen. He has 1 sibling and sleeps with the mother on a bed in a room plastered with cement and not painted. He and the parents are living in the rural area of the country and depend on farming as their main sources of income. The father does mechanic work on contracts and the mother grows vegetables at the backyard to complement the seasonal farming produce and their yearly income put together could not meet the required basic needs. Modou I. is attending Nursery School in the community and enjoying the Number and letter songs. With ChildFund Sponsorship program, would help change his livelihood.
