Samuel comes from a small community in the extreme north eastern part of Sierra Leone. He lives with his grandparents in a four bedroom mud bricks house roofed with old zinc which sometimes leak when there is a heavy downpour of rain. His parents lives in a remote community about 20 kilometres away in one of the cattle settlements where there is no formal education. He is very friendly and attending in one of the primary schools in the community. Samuel is always accompanied by older children when going to school. The grandfather is a small scale farmer while the aged grandmother stays at home to look after the children. Samuel is very intelligent and likes to challenge his peer group members in class. He is healthy and good looking. Sponsorship will improve his standard of living for a brighter future.
