Mariama lives in a coastal village in the west coast region of the Gambia. Her father is a small scale seasonal farmer and uses the inadequate income for the basic needs of the family. Her mother is a household wife who does the daily house chores, she also does petty trading to supplement her husband’s income. She is attending their village madarasa school. These loving parents are hopeful that your sponsorship will enable this child to have adequate access to basic essentials and have a good future. She is in good health.
