Gilang is a cheerful young boy residing in Central Java, Indonesia. He is currently enrolled in school and has a passion for bicycling. His parents are divorced, so he lives with his mother and his extended family. His mother is a pharmacist, and earns an income of around US$ 70.00 per month, while his stepfather works as a janitor and earns about USD 53.00. The combined income is not enough to fulfill the daily necessities and provide a good education for their kid. However, they really know they have to provide more in order to create a future for the family.  His parents are pleased to encourage him to have a better education. We are happy to include Gilang in our family group where he will be loved and cared for through our programs and your thoughtful sponsorship. Your kind sponsorship will mean so much to him, and it will give him a strong spirit to encourage him to fight to have a better life and reach a brighter future.
