Sia Mark lives with her parents in a mud house roofed with zinc. The family sleeps on a local bed with poor hygiene condition in a small village in the northern part of Sierra Leone. Her parents engage on farming activities growing crops such as rice, millet, groundnut and beans. They earn very little income from their harvest. They share two meals a day. Sia is a well-liked child by her neighbours and family members. She attends the community primary school in the village. Her best subject is science. Her parents provide her with a pair of uniform, sandal, shoe and bag to go to school. She likes to smile, and also enjoys playing balancing ball with her friends. Sponsorship will help her develop and improve her education, health and family status.
