Yunicia is a cheerful girl who lives with her grandmother in a community located in the southeastern part of Mozambique. They all live in a house built in local material. They do not have running water. They use well water for drinking cooking their meals. Yunicia attends primary school and her favorite Portuguese. She enjoys playing hopscotch. She helps her family with the chores around the house. She generally washes the dishes. Her grandmother is a subsistence farmer. She grows groundnuts, maize and cassava. The production does not provide enough income for the family. They are deeply in need; they cannot afford fertilizers to accelerate their production in the field. They are facing droughts because it takes too long to rain. Yunicia participates in the program where she will receive support in the areas of health, education, nutrition and recreation. We are hopeful that your sponsorship will enable this child to have adequate access to basic essentials and have a good future.
