Walter is a little boy who lives in the southern part of Mozambique. He lives with his mother, sister and grandmother in a very small thatched house. The mother of Walter is a farmer, so they live from agriculture. They consume part of their production and sell the other part to be able to buy other types of food, like rice and fish, school material and clothes. They live in an area where it is difficult to have access to clean water or electricity and they have to walk long distances to find water. In the future he would like to become a professional driver. On his free time, Walter enjoys playing with toy cars and football. He also enjoys helping his family with the housework. The family of Walter believes that with the help from ChildFund and partners Walter will have the chance of a better future and their lives will be better.
