Josephat is a cheerful boy who lives in Turkana County in the northern part of Kenya. He lives together with both his parents, four brothers and a sister. They live in a communal land in a grass thatched house. They get their water from a nearby river whose water is salty and not clean thus predisposing the child and family to waterborne diseases. The father is the bread winner who depends on collecting and selling firewood and the mother depends on making and selling mats. However, the family’s annual income is less than $360 which hardly meets their basic needs. Josephat goes to a nearby school in their village and he performs well in counting and coloring. Josephat likes playing with homemade football with his friends during his free time. Community leaders referred the parents to seek help from the organization to assist Josephat achieve his dreams. Joseph would like to be a doctor when he grows up and help the less fortunate in the family. Your support will bring a lasting change to Josephat’s life and the entire family.
