Shadrack is a young playful boy who lives with his parents, four sisters and three brothers. He comes from Turkana County in Northern Kenya. They live in a palm-thatched house. The family gets water from a nearby borehole hand pump tap which is prone to breakage and dries during dry seasons. They sometimes get their water from the river which is not fit for human consumption and is prone to water-borne diseases. The mother is the main breadwinner and weaves brooms and she does casual jobs like cleaning people cloths and houses to meet the family needs. The annual income generated is less than US$360. The father approached our zonal committee chairperson, who referred him to our field offices for assistance. Shadrack is enrolled in a nearby school. Your sponsorship will be of great help to this brilliant child and the family.
