Sunday is a charming girl who comes from the Northern part of Kenya, Turkana County. She lives with her mother, father, three sisters and two brothers. They live in a grass roofed house and mud walls in their small piece of land and they fetch water from the community hand pump. The water from the community handpump is not clean thus not safe for child and family consumption. Her father is the bread winner who keeps livestock and the mother depends on mat weaving activity. However, the annual income derived from this combined economic activity is below $360 US dollars which is not enough to support the family needs. Sunday goes to a nearby school in the village and performs better in Kiswahili, drawing and science. Moreover, she loves playing hide and seek and homemade dolls with her friends during free time. Sunday aspires to be an engineer in future. While at home, she helps her parents in fetching water for domestic use. Her parents decided to approach the office to seek for assistance which will change her life and that of the family. Your sponsorship will be acknowledged.
