Jeremiah is a young cheerful boy who comes from Turkana County in the Northern part of Kenya. He lives with parents, one sister and two brothers. They live in a semi - permanent house built with iron sheets and wood. The family gets water from a nearby unprotected shallow well. They sometimes fetch water from the river, which is unsafe for drinking because of the water-borne diseases. The father is the main breadwinner of the family who works as a casual worker and the income earned is not enough to meet the family needs. The family’s annual income is less than US Dollars 360 which is not enough to sustain the needs of the family. The mother approached the project for assistance. Jeremiah attends a nearby school in the community and English is his favorite subject. He also likes making new friends and He helps the mother in collecting firewood and cleaning the compound after school and in weekends. Jeremiah aspires to be a doctor when he grows up. Your support will bring a lasting change in Jeremiah and his family.
