Denis is a playful boy who lives in Turkana County in the northern part of Kenya. He lives together with both his parents and four brothers. They live in a communal land in a grass thatched house. They get their water from a nearby river which will expose them to waterborne disease. The father is the bread winner who depends on selling charcoal and the mother depends on making and selling brooms. The family’s annual income is less than $ 360 which hardly meets their basic needs. This challenge has forced the family to struggle hard to get food, medical care, school supply, house supply and other necessities. Denis goes to a nearby school in their village, he performs well in counting and drawing. Denis likes rope skipping with his friends during his free time. Community leaders referred the parents to seek help from child fund project to assist Denis achieve his dreams. According to his parents, Denis would like to be a dentist in future. Your support will bring a lasting change to Denis’s life.
