Eliyah is a smiley and talkative boy who lives in North Eastern Uganda with both parents. He attends school at government public school within the community. Eliyahs father often accompanies him to school. They sleep in a one roomed grass thatched hut made of wattle and mud walls. His parents solely rely on cultivating maize, beans, millet and cassava every planting season as a source of livelihood. Some of the farm proceeds are kept for home consumption and some is sold to get some income to support the family in attaining basic needs. However, due to poor yields as a result of changes in weather conditions, part of the farm produce sold is not adequate to cater for home basic needs like clothing, medical care, good shelter and education for the child. Your kind support to Eliyah will enable him to achieve all that life has in store for him and his family.
