Marsyah is a little girl living in Central Java Province in the coastal area. Her hobby is singing and playing pretend cooking with her friends. She is now attending primary school near her house by bicycling, eager to learn new things around her with dreams of becoming a teacher. Her family lives in destitution, her fathers income cannot afford proper education and health care for her by working as a fishmonger with a monthly income of around US$60.00, while her mother is a housewife who is unskilled and cannot find any job to add the family income. She lives with her parents and one older brother in a simple house with cement flooring and iron sheets as roofs, no bathroom, bad sanitation, and lack of clean water. Her health condition is fair but still needs better nourishment. To help her family provide adequate care and education for her, we are pleased to welcome her to ChildFund program.
