Vihara is a little child who loves to play with dolls and make play houses with her sister. Vihara and her sister live with their parents in their own house. The house which is partially built with bricks and is located in a beautiful village in Moneragala, Sri Lanka. Their floor is concreted and the roof is covered with asbestos sheets. The family has access to electricity and pipe borne water, but they do not have a water sealed toilet. Vihara does not attend a school. Vihara’s father does cultivation work and earns an annual income of around USD550/- while her mother attends to the house work and tries to manage the expenses with a small budget. They live a very difficult life because her father’s annual income is not sufficient for their day to day expenses and to provide nutritious meals to their children. Nourishing their children is becoming increasingly difficult for her parents. Vihara would be lucky to receive help from a kind Sponsor so that this little girl and her struggling parents could live a happy life and look forward to a brighter future.
