Barra is a healthy, active, and outgoing little boy whose favorite pastime is bicycling and playing with friends. He is now attending primary school, and he has a dream to be a policeman, his favorite class is Indonesian literature. He lives with his parents and siblings in Central Java, Indonesia. His father is a farmer, while his mother is a housewife who is unskilled and its difficult for her to find a good job to help increase the family income. Their income is only around US$ 40.00 per month, and this is absolutely not enough to fulfill daily necessities and provide a good education for their kid. They live in a simple house in a farm area made of brick walls, tile roof, and cement floor, they use springs as the water source, with no private bathroom, and have to go on foot about 1km-5km to get clean water. However, they really know they have to provide more in order to create a future for the family. His parents are pleased to encourage him to have a better education. We are happy to include him in our family group where he will be loved and cared for through our programs and your thoughtful sponsorship.
