Maezel Ann lives with her family in a simple makeshift home of tarpaulins and wood along a rural roadside. Her stepfather works as a construction laborer, while her mother stays at home to care for the family. They have electricity, a communal water source, a sanitary latrine, and cook meals using charcoal.  Maezel attends a nearby primary school and loves the color purple, fried chicken on special occasions, and oranges. Playful and affectionate, she enjoys toy cars and traditional games with her siblings and cousins. Maezel Ann is a kind child who dreams of becoming a police officer someday. Supporting her can help provide opportunities that will strengthen her future and improve her family’s quality of life.
