Eipa is a charming young girl who lives in Turkana County in the northern part of Kenya. They live in a communal land in a hut made of grass thatched. They get their water from a nearby river, which is not clean and can expose the child and family into communicable diseases. The father is the bread winner who depends on riding bike and mother makes and sells baskets. The family’s annual income is less than 360US dollars which hardly meets their basic needs. This challenge has forced the family to struggle hard to get food, medical care, school supply, house supply and other necessities. Eipa goes to a nearby school in their village and she does well in drawing and mathematics. Eipa likes playing with handmade dolls with her friends during her free time and rolling tires. Community leaders referred the parents to seek help from child fund project to assist Eipa achieve her dreams. She would like to be a nurse when she grows up. She helps her mother in rinsing dishes and sweeping the compound.Your support will bring a lasting change to Eipa’s life.
