Lopeyok is a brilliant boy who comes from the Northern part of Kenya, Turkana County. He lives with his mother, two sisters and one brother. They live in an iron-roofed house and walls smeared with mad in a communal land and they fetch water from the community hand pump. His mother is the breadwinner who depends on broom-making activity. However, the annual income derived from this broom-making is below 360 US dollars which is not enough to support the familys needs. His mother decided to approach the office to seek assistance. Lopeyok goes to a nearby public school in the village. In addition, he loves playing football with his brother and friends during his free time. He aspires to be a teacher in the future.
