Sirah is a handsome girl living with her parents and one sibling in an old mud bricks house in Gbawuria community. She is attending primary school and she is doing very well in class. Her parents normally cultivate food crops to meet the needs of their family. Their combined annual income could be estimated at US$ 185.00 which hardly meets their basic needs. The needs of Sirah such as food, clothing, medication and a decent shelter are therefore often neglected. She normally goes to school without the required materials needed to acquire quality education. Despite these constraints, Sirah is very intelligent and determined to acquire quality education. She likes drawing images of animals with her peers.
