Salimou was born in a remote village situated in Bas-Simbaraya community where he lives with his parents. They dwell in a mud house with 2 rooms deprived of electricity and inside bathroom. At home they use chinese light or hurricane lamps to light in the house at night. They family survives by growing local crops from which they obtain food and revenue. With the $360 dollar that the father raises as annual revenue, not much can be done to meet the basic needs of the family. Salimou is attending CEC in the community. At home the child sleeps under a mosquito net. Often he likes playing with toys with his friends in front of their house. A caring sponsor will surely enable the child to have a better future.
