Jedidah is a young jovial girl who comes from Turkana County in the northern part of Kenya. She lives with her grandmother. They live in a palm thatched house with mud smeared walls. The family get water from unprotected shallow well, which is unsafe for the family use, thus it exposes the child and the family to water borne diseases. The grandmother is the breadwinner who does small farming activity which is not enough for the household needs. The annual income realised in this activity is less than US Dollars 360, that’s not enough for the family use. The grandmother approached the program office for help. Jedidah is enrolled in a nearby school. She helps her grandmother by fetching water. Jedidah and the family will appreciate for sponsorship since it will bring positive change to the child and the family going forward.
