Yeiden Eliam, known as Elian is a cheerful, active and playful child. He is going to preschool and loves singing. Elian and his two older sisters live with their parents in a house that they own close to school and a health center. The house is built with adobe mud walls, tiles roof and cement floor. They have a toilet inside the house and have access to electricity and piped water. The mother is a housewife; the father supports the family. He is a seasonal day laborer and does not earn enough to cover their main needs of his large family. Parents and children need help to move on and improve.
