Kailash who is usually called by his nickname Krishna lives in a remote tribal village with his uncle and aunty. His parents died when he was very young. They all live in a mud hut with a roof made of straw, which lacks basic amenities such as water and sanitation. His uncle works very hard as a farmer on his small plot of land and earns approximately 233 USD per year, but this is insufficient to sustain the family. His aunty is a dedicated housewife who is resourceful at trying to make the most of what is at hand but there are no signs of improvement in their living condition. With no other options and a strong desire to educate this boy, the desperate caretakers turned to this project for help. Kailash attends primary school.  Hindi (national language) is his favorite subject. He loves to play group games. His health is average.
