Ethel is an active pretty young girl. She lives with her three sisters, five brothers, mother and father in one of the rural farming areas of Zambia. They live in a house made from unburnt bricks with iron sheets as roof. The family depends on subsistence farming and mainly grows maize being a staple food crop of their area. Her parents also grow and sales vegetables to earn some extra income. Their annual income earned stands at about $400.00. That is not enough to lift the family out of poverty. Because of this they decided to have Ethel enrolled for sponsorship. She is learning at a primary school. She enjoys playing with dolls and toys. Your support to Ethel will certainly help improve her standard of living.
