Teakie lives with her mother and step-father since her biological father died sometime ago. This child lives in a small farming community in the northern part of Sierra Leone. They dwell in a two bedroom mud bricks adobe house without toilet facilities. Peasant farming is the main source of income of the family with an annual income of about US$ 390.00 which can hardly take them through the year. Teakie is attending in one of the Early Childhood Care and Development Centres in her village. She loves to sing and dance traditional music when they relax at night on moonlight nights. Support from sponsorship will contribute to make a remarkable difference in her life and family.
