Mouhamed or, Ahmed as he is called for short at home is a lovely a little boy. The family has access to running water and electricity supplies. The father relies on seasonal farming. He usually grows millet and beans for food and groundnuts for sales. Due to unpredictable weather conditions and poor methods of cultivation the field’s outputs are seldom low. His earnings do not exceed more than US $1,400 in a year. Mouhamed’s mother keeps the house in shift with the other women in the family. Cooking for lunch is a must but dinner and breakfast are not provided every day. Besides she makes sure her kids are always simply dressed. He enjoys running after and kicking in a ball the elders make for him out of rags as he has not yet started his school career. This energetic child needs love and assistance from a caring sponsor to blossom and grow healthy and well educated.
