Osman and his mother are kept by grandparents. They live in Rufunsa a small farming area which is situated in the eastern part of Lusaka. The family depends on subsistence farming. They grow maize and groundnuts which they sometimes sell at the local market in order to increase the family income. Their annual income is not more than $350. This is not enough to sustain the family with their daily basic needs. Osman is in early childhood education and likes learning pre-math. He enjoys playing ball games.
