Aqib is a young boy living in Central Java Province with his family in destitution, he enjoys drawing, and he is currently in preschool. He dreams of becoming a soldier in the future.. His father earns a living as a factory worker with income of merely less than US$ 133.00, while his mother is a housewife who is unskilled and cannot find any job to add to the family income. Aqib lives with his family, his uncle, aunts, and grandfather in a simple house made of brick walls and cemented floors, bad sanitation, and a lack of clean water for them to drink. His health condition is fair but still needs better nourishment. To help these poor families provide adequate care and education for him, we are pleased to welcome him to ChildFund program.
