Sheku is a little Boy staying with his parents in the eastern part of Sierra Leone. He loves to play soccer with his peers. He is attending primary school in his community. He spends most of his time with his grandmother while the parents spend time in doing small scale farming in the nearby village but return home every day. He is very active and loves to eat locally prepared food. Sheku and his family live in a three-bed room house built with mud bricks and roofed with old iron sheets. It leaks mostly during the rainy season. The leaking roof sometimes makes life unbearable for Sheku and family. His parents are small scale farmers and they grow mainly rice for household consumption. They earn very little from their farm sales with an annual income estimated at US$ 250 which cannot provide all the basic needs for Sheku and her family. Your sponsorship will help him to be educated and become a great contributor to the development of his community.
